At the size of 1.2 x 4 x 13 inches and at approximately 2 pounds, portability is the name of the game allowing the speaker to be easily slipped on the side pockets of your notebook or hand carry luggage. Moreover, since it has a built in protective sheet, you need not worry about scratches when hit at the linings of your luggage.
The portable speaker uses a planar speaker design, a design used in systems with very little processing power or memory and so resulting in accurate speed and precision sound reproduction.
Pros
- It has a flexible device option that works with most personal computers, laptops, MP3 Players or almost anything that has a standard headphone jack output.
- Designed portably allowing you to carry anywhere or just slip on to your pocket.
- Long Battery Life, allowing you to play continuously for 45 straight hours.
- It has a protective cover that when opened may be used as a stand and speaker support. So no need for any protective coverings.
- Uses a built-in cable management capability for easy storage
- Sound may sometimes distort when bass is turned up high.
- Like most portable speakers of this category, there is no volume control on the speaker.
- Lack of wireless and slip-on technology. It could have been better if we just slip the MP3 Players to a jack or port and be able to listen music like having a real stereo.
The Logitech manufactured product ranks at the second (2nd) spot at Amazon’s Portable Speaker Category and is currently available in the market at approximately $130.00 dollars with applicable shipping rates. Although the price is quite high for a speaker when most products of this category sell at $40.00 to $50.00 dollars, the product has a two-year warranty.
