The Finis SwiMP3v2 player is perfect for swimmers or triathletes who wants to listen music while swimming. Yes, swimming that is because this MP3 Player is waterproof making it even more impressive than your iPod or Walkman.  It is engineered for water-used for sound quality to be great; within water the sound is fuller and greater.

How It Works?

It is design with two earpieces being attached to the goggles making it firmly in place when you are going deep down for swimming.  It features a USB connector for you to be able to load music files while swimming and cable goes around your neck.  You need not worry about earpieces being detached as it is strongly attached to the goggles. The functionality is intuitive enough where one piece allows you to Power on and Stop while the other piece allows you to control volume; and forward/rewind a track. 

Good

• Underwater it is only you who can hear it, so you do not have to worry disturbing fellow swimmers.
• Loading the device with files is a snap in the button all you have to do is drag and drop and you are ready to dive into the pool. But just do not forget to cover the USB connector or the whole device will be gone.
• Although the capacity is only at 256 MB and supports only a limited audio format (MP3 and WMA), this should not be a problem as the storage capacity should just be enough for you to finish your lapping session.

Bad

• The device doesn’t float which will possible make it hard for you to look for it when detached to the goggles and falls accidentally to the see or at the pool.
• The bass is very limited making no way for adjustment for sound types that suite best for swimmers.
• Limited for water action as the device, when out of water lets people hear what music you are playing. It could have been better if engineered for in and out of the pool usage.
