Samsung S3 for the Party Lovers

One of the latest release of Samsung is the S3 MP3 Player designed offering a neon illuminated touch-sensitive surface technology that is most suitable partygoers. This is due to the disco light effects it brings to life.

More than the design, it brings comfortability to listeners with its effective equalizer presets and decent bass-enriched sound quality as well as customizable menus, fonts, and playing screen.

Design

The phone is designed with round edges in it, which makes it touch friendly to all walks of life.  The size is not at all bad having a dimension of 95 x 44 x 9.8 mm x 53 grams while it is available in 2, 4 and 8GB storage capacities. The standout is the navigation functionality where a set of illuminated buttons beneath the display comes to life when being tapped.  This is where the four directional keys in tiny blue dots and over at the middle of it is where you can the play, pause and selection button in large illuminated circle.

The menu and back buttons are located above the control keys. Over at the right edge is the power buttons and at the bottom part is the USB connection port and headphone outlet.

Features

Aside from the usual FM Radio with recorder, a couple of games and a world clock, some features added are the folder navigation and the ability to delete songs without having to connect to your PC. 

Much more, pressing the menu button while a song is being played leads you to a list of options such as Equalizer presets, User defined Equalizer function to make your song even sound better.  The MP3 Player supports audio files MP3, WMA and Ogg formats and MPEG 4 for video format. Any video will automatically be converted to SVI format of Samsung using the built-in Samsung Media Studio Software.

Overall Impression

Although there might be a little flaws such as the sensitive touch keys that usually leads to accidental pressings. But the overall quality of the MP3 player is not bad after all.  The sound quality with its bass enriched audio is quite good.  

All up, Samsung S3 is a decent and competent MP3 Player coupled with its quality audio output and some unique customization options, at approximately $90.00 the price you pay is worth the benefits you get!
