Spinning your Iriver Spinn is not that hard after all as spinning a top as the innovative and unique design is tactile to the human hands making it touchy and sensible. It uses a Spinn System Toggle Wheel Technology for navigation plus being packed with so much desirable features such as video and photo playback, voice recording, Bluetooth, and supports a wide variety of audio codecs having more sound enhancements option than your usual MP3.

The price ranges from $250.00 for the 4GB model and about $290.00 for the 8GB.  Although the price might be relatively high for an MP3, the focal point of the gadget is video feature; this definitely would appeal to those who are looking for a non-standard MP3.

Design 

The design’s focal point stands with the Spinn System Toggle Wheel, a cylindrical device seemingly like a knob you rotate to navigate menu options and push in to make a selection.  This wheel can be found on the right spine of the gadget. The dimension stands at 3.8 x 2.0 x 0.4 inches and mainly consisted of a variety of tactile keys such as that of a volume, power, and back keys lined on top and left edges of the player. At the bottom is where you can find the proprietary USB port partly hidden beneath the flap while the 3.5mm headphone jack is situated beneath the Toggle Wheel.

Much more, the gadget is friendly to those with impaired vision as the Toggle Wheel clicks and vibrates when you go off reaching the end of a list.

Performance

The Iriver Spinn is relatively solid in all the common packed features such as supporting a wide variety of codecs. The battery life was rated at 25 hours of audio playback and 5 hours for video streaming making it more than enough for your usage. In general, music sounded good and clear. Clearly, one of the most notable features is the ability to be customized with its five-band custom equalizer as well as some customizable tooling with bass.

Photos and videos are excellent on the large and bright 262K colored screen 480x 272 resolutions.
