The Cowon iAudio U5 is a definite way to add rhythm to your life.  It is designed to comfortably fit on to your hand with its round button design.  In the player, it is all about creating your own music through its extensive EQ effects to provide the best quality music you wish to listen.  It is built within the JetEffect Technology that clarifies music, restored distorted music and most of all providing 3D sounds effect resulting in 64mW high quality sound output that satisfies your cravings for good music.

Design

The MP3 Player sits at 41.1 W x 85.1 L x 9.3 mm T x 35 grams making it relatively small that you can easily slide on to your pocket for convenience carrying.  The four directional button situated in front is where you can find the Volume + and Volume – keys by pressing up and down respectively, as well as the Rewind and Fast Forward keys by pressing left and right keys respectively.  At the center of the four directional buttons is where the play/stop key is held.  Moreover, the silver or red label it where you can find the “Menu” key.

Juxtapose at the bottom edge of the MP3 are the Microphone Port, Earphone Jack, Proprietary USB 2.0 Port and a Mini Hole for Reset. The power and record key can be found at the left edge.

Overall Impression

The Cowon manufactured MP3 Player is priced at approximately $100.00, just enough for the features and benefits you get.  The overall built looks good and the sound quality is above expectation.  Though, more features might still be added such as video streaming, and connectivity an improved model of this is the Cowon D2.
