Samsung S2 Pebble (1GB)

The Samsung S2 Pebble (1GB) (see CNET Review) is a very cool little MP3 player. I mean, just look at it. The pebble name fits quite well. Beyond that, this inexpensive MP3 player has a lot going from it. It does lack a screen, but with the storage available, that shouldn’t be too big of a problem – i.e. 1GB isn’t likely going to fit your whole music collection.

The good thing is that they’re so cheap to buy, you could most likely afford two – and who wouldn’t want two pebbles instead of one. Smile. Seriously, though, you could have one green one with your workout music and a purple one stocked with your party music. Unless of course your workout music and party music is the same – that might be the topic for another blog post, though.

The MP3 player does have its drawbacks – no screen, small amount of memory – but the pros outweigh the cons by a lot. Whether or not you agree with this depends on how well you like the design of this MP3 player. For the price of the unit, though, if you’re even a little enamored by the Samsung Pebble, you should pick one up. It’s your call, of course, but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
