Samsung S3 Slim – 4GB

The Samsung S3 Slim – 4GB (see CNET Review) is a reasonable priced yet stylish MP3 player that’s sure to keep you grooving (moreso with extra money still in your wallet after you walk out of the store.) You won’t be getting top of the line features with the Samsung S3, but you’ll get enough to keep you happy and your music playing. With a nine-band equalizer, you’ll also be getting good sound quality out of this MP3 player. There is an 8GB version of the Samsung S3 Slim available for about $40 more, if you’re willing to spend it.

This MP3 player is the descendant of the Samsung T10, but the design and style of the S3 Slim is a lot better than what came before. It’s good when a manufacturer listens and makes improvements instead of shelling out the same product year after year.

In size, the Samsung S3 Slim is only slighter bigger than the Apple iPod Nano. The screen is smaller, though. Slightly smaller, but still smaller. Samsung does a good job at user interfaces, though, and the S3 Slim is easy to get around and navigate.

Being a lower end budget player, the earphones aren’t the greatest. If you want to fuly experience the sound the S3 Slim has to offer, you should invest (if you haven’t already) in a good set of headphones or earphones.

Overall, the Samsung S3 Slim is a good pick if you’re not wanting to spend a lot of money, but still want a good sounding and good looking MP3 player.
