The Cowon S9 (16GB) (see CNET Review) comes with a OLED touch-screen and a lot of other great features that make this an MP3 player that gives you more bang for your buck. Not only is it packed with features, it’s got great, sleek styling that won’t bring down the rest of your “look” by being bulky or old fashioned looking.
The Cowon S9 is considerably lighter that the Apple iPod Touch. The screen is a little smaller too, at 3.3 inches compares to the iPod Touch’s 3.5″ screen. The real estate on the Cowon S9 screen is put to good use, though.

The Cowon S9 is pretty sturdy while still looking good. There’s a plastic and scratch resistant covering over the front and the black body doesn’t show nicks and scratches that much either. And behind that scratch resistant covering is one of the better touch-screens available on the market for MP3 players.
The user interface isn’t that bad either. It’s not as slick or intuitive as some of the other user interfaces out there, but it’s better than other Cowon user interfaces in the past.
The Cowon S9 is a great alternative to the Apple iPod Touch that supports a lot of audio, video and image formats.
