Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player

The Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player (see CNET Review or Official Page) is the perfect MP3 player for those who like little fuss when it comes to technology. Yes, there’s a reason the Slacker G2 has the word slacker in the name. Smile.

The coolest thing about the Slacker G2 MP3 player is that it’s integrated with the free Slacker Music Service. That’s right – not only do you get all the MP3s that can fit onto 8GB, you also get streaming music via WiFi wherever you might be. (Well, I’m not sure, but it may not work in some remote locations like Mt. Kilimanjaro, but you’ll still have 8GB of music that you can play without the Slacker music service. :)

The first Slacker Personal Radio Player wasn’t that great of a hit when it first came out. The company took all the complaints and idea and came up with the Slacker G2, which is a lot better than the original, which was boxy, big, and didn’t quite work as well as it was supposed to – especially with the WiFi. They haven’t fixed all the problems in the Slacker G2, but they’ve come a long way in making it better.

The sound quality of the player isn’t the greatest (especially for the price), but there’s something about being able to listen to a constant stream of music WITHOUT having to synch up your MP3 files that’s pretty cool. If you’re a music aficionado, you’re going to want to at least check out the Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player. It’s not for everyone, but if you like streaming music, you’re gonna like this MP3 player.
