If you’ve always wanted a touch screen MP3 player but were put off by high prices, the Memorex TouchMP MP3 player is for you. It’s only 8GB, but with a sub-$100 price, that’s still quite a bit of memory – more than enough unless you’re a serious music nut with every album ever made. Smile. The new touch screen offering was announced in January at CES 2009 and will be available in March 2009.
“The TouchMP digital media player puts entertainment and favorite memories at your fingertips, packing tremendous value into this little touch screen device,” said Jessica Walton, Memorex global brand director for Imation Corp. “The Memorex TouchMP is a great way to store and share photos and videos when visiting friends and family, or to sit back and enjoy your own personal playlist. A custom user interface makes it easy to navigate and quickly enjoy media files no matter what type of content you are playing.”

- Screen: 2.8″ LCD – 320×240 pixel resolution
- Audio Formats: MP3, WMA, WAV
- Video Formats: WMV, MPEG-4, and AVI (MP4)
- Memory Cards: microSD
According to Memorex, battery life is around 50 hours, which means a lot of music. The MP3 Player also includes an FM tuner (pretty standard these days) and ability to download podcasts and Audible (TM) audio books.
The really cool thing, though, as you can imagine, is the touch screen. It’s going to be interesting to see the user interface – sometimes that can make or break an MP3 player.

They show “in stock” at baby universe, toys r us, and etoys. etoys has $5 off $25 or more, and baby universe has %10 off $100 or more (since it’s $99 I guess you have to find something super cheap to push it over the top) Try the Gerber nipple brush for $1.39

i already have this mp3 player had a little problem wit it at first requiring me to send it to the company but i recieved it back already and its a good mp3 player
heyyy i saw this cool mp3 player(Memorex TouchMP) on a newspaper thingie of Toys R Us and.. its like… 79 dllr. i reaaally want to know if theres in another place cheaper… in Laredo Tx. xDDDD or… somewhere i could buy it… with none of stress they are going to be “gone” D:
I got one its nice but the only problem is i cant figure out how to make a playlist, this makes it kinda annoying if you only like one song on an cd.
