I had the e5 4gb vid/cam model..actually 10 yrs old did
for 6 MONTHS everything fine, then video cameral part quit.. cant find any firmware updates.

This player is very hard to operate I cant even get the date and time set.

Hi, I have the ematic and i had the same issue but i took a flat screw driver to the left side of the front and removed the cover, played around with it a little and it reset it and now it works, the only thing is, if i plug it into my computer it freezes all over again so i don’t know how i am going to charge it hope it helps

my husband gave me this as a gift back on mothers day and i still cant get videos or ebooks on it the player dont suck its that i dont know how to format it so the player can take what im putting in it has me do a whole lotta stuff and i dont know how to convert.

This is the hardest little MP3 player I have ever tried to get started. It isn’t worth the trouble. The booklet is terrible and doesn’t explain anything.
