The 3rd Generation iPod Shuffle from Apple (see CNET Review or the official Apple iPod Shuffle page) is the newest incarnation of the MP3 player that changed everything. Apple is known for putting out great hardware and the latest iPod Shuffle is no different. It’s small, it’s not too expensive, it has a lot of memory (4GB!) and did I mention it was tiny? Smile. This MP3 player won’t be for everyone (especially those with large hands), but if size isn’t an issue (or you’re looking for something tiny), the iPod shuffle is right up your alley.
iPod Shuffle 3rd Generation Quick Stats:
- Dimensions: 0.7″ x 0.3″ x 1.8″ (aka SMALL!)
- Weight: .4 ounces
- Memory: 4GB integrated
Because it’s so small, there aren’t a lot of features in the latest iPod shuffle. Oh, it can do the things most MP3 players do, but it has tiny controls and no screen to see what’s happening. For some people, though, this is simple and perfect. From runners to those trying to listen to audio on the sly, this compact iPod is the baby brother to the larger 3rd gen iPods on the market.
They say sometimes that good things come in small packages. The latest 3rd generation iPod Shuffle is an example of this. It doesn’t have all the features of an iPod Touch, but it’s small size gives the iPod Shuffle its own “wow factor.” It’s not going to be for everyone, but if you’re looking for a simple, sturdy and super small MP3 player, this is right up your musical alley.
If you have the 3rd generation iPod Shuffle MP3 player from Apple (and haven’t lost or misplaced it because it’s so small), we’d love to hear what you think. Leave a (small!) comment below and let us know what you think of the latest iPod Shuffle MP3 player. Is it a hit or a miss?
