I just took my second unit back. First unit just died (its obviously not sweat-proof). And the second replacement unit also died after a 40 minute workout. But WHEN it works, this little device is great. Not recommended for the kind of folk who sweat a lot.

Totally true. Don't buy this gadget is a pain in the ass and Sony will do anything not to replace the unit merely under the pretext that the customer cannot provide proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt) despite having all handouts, warranty paper and all parts!!!

I've had to return one already due to malfunction.. and just today the buttons are not working on the replacement and it will not turn on or be recognized by the PC (which is required for charging) ..... also, its not so "wearable" after you even start to moderately sweat... slides right out your ears... the chord should be made of a more elastic material that allows for a snugger fit.. cause it simply cannot stay in place... sorry sony.. you need to take this one back to the drawing board..
