The Zune HD from Microsoft (yeah, they’ve been hit and miss with products … cough Vista cough), but they keep trying, which is to be commended. Their Zune player (see CNET Review or Official Microsoft Site) has been through a lot of changes. A while back, there was mention of a touchscreen version coming out. Well, it’s here. And it’s sleek. And slick. And, well, it has a touch screen that’s pretty darn nifty, even if it is Microsoft. Smile. With a 16GB and 32GB version, and a price that’s not too high, a lot of people are going to be wanting this mp3 player.
Is it like the iPod Touch? Well, it has some features the iPod Touch doesn’t. Not a lot, but sometimes it’s the little things. There are optional features for this mp3 player as well.

Xboxist and PSP Updates had some information in the past about possible support for Xbox Live and the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP.) Microsoft has released some information, but the world is still waiting. Will it be a hit or miss? So far, it sounds like if you touch it, you’re gonna like it. Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen. This latest generation Zune looks to be a real contender. It’s going to be something to watch.
