While many people use the popular iTunes music store, there are other options available. It’s important to make sure you pay for all the music you enjoy so that the artists can continue to make new music, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of the Internet to save a little money in the process. If you’re interested in saving money when getting your MP3s, keep reading.
Walmart MP3s
You might not have known it, but Walmart also sells MP3 music files for your MP3 player. They usually offer then ten to twenty cents less than Apple’s iTunes music store. This can add up to significant savings if you’re a big music lover. Imagine being able to get a whole new album for as low as $4.99. It’s possible with Walmart MP3s.
Amazon Mp3 Music
Another familiar name – Amazon – also sells MP3 music files for your MP3 player – no matter which style you have. The prices here are about the same as Walmart’s MP3 selection – i.e. cheaper than Apple iTunes. They have a really good selection of music available and also allow you to sample the music before you buy.
Napster
You may remember Napster from back in the early days of the Internet – and all the lawsuits they faced, including people who used Napster. Well, things are different these days. Napster has cleaned up its act and offers unlimited streaming of their music collection. In addition, you can purchase single tracks from them as well. For many, Napster is now the greatest way to get music.
