The Visual Land Rave 8 gb is a rare bird indeed. Only a few short years ago you would need to carry around 5 different gadgets, just to do what this little creation is capable of. How times have changed for the good, and aren’t we glad they did.
First, let’s first try and tell you everything it does. It is one of the smallest camcorders in the world, it takes photographs, it records sounds, it has a built in FM radio tuner, and you can watch it all on its 2″ color screen. WOW, what it really provides you is your own mini entertainment center, which you can take with you anywhere you happen to be off too.
If that was not all enough, it also allows you to transfer video and movie files seamlessly from your computer to the Visual Land Rave at a flip of a switch. Could it get any better, could there possibly be anymore this something from another planet does?
Now for the things we did not like about the product. The sound quality is supplies is very good, but not the best we have ever tested. The menu is functional, but it definitely could be designed to be easier to use. You did read the above correctly, it comes with a 2″ screen. That of course, makes watching it for extended periods, a little difficult on the eyes.
All of that being said, there is positively a market for this product. How wide of one is questionable. But, if you want something that can fit into your pocket or purse, which will provide you entertainment you just might want to consider acquiring one. In conclusion, we believe the Visual Land Rave 8 gb will gain a following, but there are other items out there that do everything it does much better. However, they are not all in one small package, like this remarkable device.
